Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

Short version: the files you open in PDFmoor stay on your device. They are processed by your own browser and are never uploaded to us or to any third party.

1. Your files

All PDF and image tools on pdfmoor.com run locally in your web browser. When you select or drop a file, it is read by your browser, processed in your device’s memory and the result is saved straight back to your device. We do not receive, store, view, analyse or share the contents of your files.

2. Information we collect

PDFmoor has no user accounts and no forms that collect personal information. We do not run our own analytics.

Like every website, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical logs when pages are requested — for example IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and running, and are kept for a limited period by the host.

3. Cookies and local storage

PDFmoor itself does not set tracking cookies. Our advertising partner, Google, may set cookies as described in section 4. Your browser may also cache our pages and scripts so they load faster next time; this cache stays on your device.

4. Advertising

To keep the tools free, PDFmoor shows ads served by Google AdSense. Ads never have access to the files you open — those stay on your device.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can turn off personalised advertising in Google’s My Ad Center, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies at aboutads.info. To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and can change their choice at any time through the privacy settings link in that consent message.

5. Third-party code

The open-source libraries that power the tools are hosted on pdfmoor.com itself, so no outside service sees how you use the tools. The only third-party code on the site is the Google AdSense script that shows ads.

6. Children

PDFmoor is a general-purpose utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

7. Your rights

Because we do not hold personal data about you or your files, there is normally nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you have any privacy question or request, email contact@pdfmoor.com.

8. Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date at the top.
