How to add an image, logo or stamp to a PDF
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Adding a company logo to a quotation, a stamp to an invoice or a photo to a form is easy once you can place images directly on the page.
Ready? Open the free Add Image to PDF tool.
Open Add Image to PDFStep by step
- Open Add Image to PDF and select your PDF.
- Click + Add image and choose a PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF or SVG. You can also paste an image with Ctrl+V or drop it onto the page.
- Drag the image to move it, pull the blue dot to resize it, and use the arrow keys to nudge it precisely.
- Adjust Opacity for a watermark-style stamp, or use Center to place it exactly in the middle.
- Tick Repeat on every page to stamp a logo or letterhead across the whole document.
- Use the arrows to move between pages, then click Save PDF and download.
Tips for a clean result
- Use a transparent PNG for logos and stamps so there is no white box around them — transparency is preserved.
- Images are embedded at full resolution; a huge photo will make the PDF bigger. Resize large photos first or compress the result afterwards.
- For a text watermark such as “CONFIDENTIAL”, Watermark PDF is quicker.
- For a handwritten signature, Sign PDF lets you draw one directly.
Your file never leaves your device.
