How to turn photos and images into a PDF

Last updated: 9 October 2026

Phone photos of receipts, ID pages or handwritten notes are much easier to send and print as a single PDF. Here is how to convert them in a few seconds.

Step by step

  1. Open JPG to PDF.
  2. Select one or more images (JPG, PNG, BMP or WebP). Use + Add more images to add others.
  3. Drag the rows by their handle to set the page order — the top image becomes page 1.
  4. Choose a page size:
    • Fit to image — each page is exactly the size of its photo, no borders.
    • A4 (210 × 297 mm) or Letter (8.5 × 11 in) — best when the PDF will be printed or submitted to a form.
  5. Click Convert to PDF and download.

Tips for better results

  • Photograph documents in daylight, flat on a dark surface, straight from above.
  • Crop and straighten photos on your phone before converting.
  • Large phone photos make large PDFs. If the result is too big, use Compress PDF.
  • Want the text in the photos to be searchable? Run the PDF through OCR PDF.

Prefer to scan with your phone camera directly? Scan to PDF uses the camera in your browser.
